Selworthy Church

Selworthy Church
Description:
All Saint's church in Selworthy. This distinctive whitewashed church dates back to the 14th and 15th century although the site is recorded in the Domesday book.

The church has many interesting features inside most notably the south (or Steyning) aisle with a superb wagon roof containing 90 carved bosses.

The church's location is equally fine with views across the valley to Exmoor. Given its lime-washed walls and position Selworthy church is visible from many points on Exmoor.
