Glastonbury Church
Description:
The Church of St John the Baptist in Glastonbury dates from the 15th century and is designated a Grade I listed building.

In the churchyard is a thorn tree grown from the Glastonbury Thorn. It is said that the original tree dates back to when Joseph of Arimathea visited Glastonbury with the Holy Grail. He thrust his staff into Wearyall Hill and this grew into the Glastonbury Thorn tree
