17th Century Somerset Long house,set in open country side, near Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury

Poplar Farm is a small working farm of 25acres where we rear mainly beef animals, but we also keep chickens ducks geese rabbits guinea-pigs 2 cats and last but not least 3 Jack Russell Terriers, Tigger, Millie and Jack.
The house is set in a half acre of gardens in a quiet rural setting surrounded by pasture land. The house was totally renovated 13 years ago, the loft and barn are now part of the house,central heating was installed and oak and elm beams were exposed to show off their character.
We also have a small self catering studio flat called Swallows Nest which has been converted from a redundant barn which sleeps 2.
We are set between The Mendip Hills The Somerset Levels and The Quantock Hills.The Roman Bathes at Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury are very close so there is a really good choice of places to see and visit.The Isle of Wedmore Golf Club is just up the road so for any keen golfers bring your clubs.
Bristol International Airport is convinientally only 15 miles away.
